Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf started its long march from Liberty Chowk Lahore to Islamabad. Chairman PTI Imran Khan is leading the march on a container at Liberty Chowk, accompanied by Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and other leaders.

On this occasion, Chairman PTI not only addressed the participants of the long march present there but also administered oath to them. Speaking, Imran Khan said that my leader Quaid-e-Azam had given freedom from the British, the time has come to start the journey of real freedom of the country. He said that this march is not for politics or personal interests, India can get cheap oil from Russia, Pakistani slaves are not allowed.

Earlier, a large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers gathered at Liberty Chowk on Thursday night. On this occasion, the workers raised slogans against the present government. The workers who came to Liberty Chowk said that they will go to Islamabad with this long march in any case. Member of Punjab Assembly elected from this area and provincial minister Murad Ras himself was present in Liberty Chowk. Murad Ross is overseeing the arrangements for the long march from Liberty Chowk.

It should be noted that this is the second long march of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, which he himself led from Lahore. Earlier, in August 2014, he started a march from the provincial capital Lahore, which turned into a sit-in on reaching Islamabad. And this dharna continued for 126 days.

The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf say that this long march will end after reaching Islamabad from Lahore or not? It will depend on how the government treats them. Tehreek-e-Insaf had made the final announcement of this march on Wednesday. After that, camps were set up at many places in Lahore where people were invited to participate in this march.
