The US dollar continues to appreciate against the rupee.

At the opening of trading on Tuesday, the value of the dollar was seen to increase for the fifth consecutive day and at the close of trading, the dollar rose by 82 paisa to close at 219 rupees 71 paisa. Today on Wednesday also at the beginning of the business, an increase in the value of the dollar is being seen in the interbank and the dollar has become expensive by 29 paise.


During the trading session, the value of the dollar increased by another 50 paise, making the dollar worth Rs 220 50 paise. In the interbank exchange, the price of one dollar has risen to Rs 220 against the rupee.


On the other hand, in the open market, the dollar is being sold at 227 rupees 95 paise, increasing by 1 rupee 75 paise.
