Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri has predicted about Pakistani superstar Shaheen Afridi that the fast bowler may take a break from cricket after the World Cup.
Speaking before the match between Pakistan and Netherlands on Sunday, the former Indian head coach said that Pakistani superstar Shaheen Afridi could not perform well after returning from injury, and he did not get any wickets against India and Zimbabwe. No, because of which he might take a break from cricket for some time after the World Cup.
Ravi Shastri added that I think he is not fully fit yet and is hurting himself physically, he has been brought back too soon, there is pressure on him in the World Cup, he wants to play himself. Team management and selectors also want to feed him.
"I see him taking a big break after the tournament is over," revealed the former Indian head coach.
It should be noted that the Pakistani superstar took his first World Cup wicket in the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday by sending the Netherlands opener to the pavilion. Shaheen Afridi gave away 19 runs in 4 overs and took one wicket.
