Why Is The Pressure On North Korean President Kim Jong-Un Increasing?

Tensions over North Korea continue to rise, but the current situation appears to be the worst in five years and is expected to worsen.

North Korea has launched several ballistic missiles, bombed warships near the South Korean border and fired hundreds of munitions into the sea that landed in the military buffer zone.

The two Koreas created this buffer zone in 2018 to maintain peace. The two countries are still technically at war.

A North Korean merchant ship crossed the sea border on Monday, prompting warnings from both sides.
